Damask Moon is an 18" diameter cresent moon designed to hang on a wall or as a center piece of a large table or console. The vessel is Birds Eye Maple. I used bleach to create the damask pattern so the wood grain is visible through the color change.

Classic Chippendale pelmets. A pelmet is a framework placed above a window, used to conceal curtain fixtures. These are about 6' long carved basswood which is then gold leafed.
Hung in the living room and dining room of the Getty apartment in New York City.

A carved African mahogany blanket. Looks soft- acts hard. Viola'!
It turns out to be a bit confusing to people. Most still think its a blanket. A testament to seeing what we expect to see.

The Rhinelander mansion on Madison Avenue and 72nd Street in Manhattan remain one of the most beautiful interior ever built in New York. The store is a copy of an old English men's clubans was designed by Naomi Leff and completed in 1985. I was in my twenties and it was a years work completed in three months along with my partner Bill Sullivan.
